SFDA integration

Learn how to manage SFDA registration on the system.

Register Vehicle

To register customer, vehicle, or driver to SFDA on the system, login as admin, then click on Customers from the left-hand side.

You can only register vehicle through the account of a registered customer.

Identify customer

All the customers will be listed. Find the customer you want by using any of the following filters.

  • Organization ID: enter organization ID in the text box.
  • Customer name: enter the customer name in the text box.
  • C.R number: enter the customer’s commercial number.
  • Package: filter customers by their packages.
  • Status: filter customers by their statuses (Active/ inactive)
  • Devices: filter customers by their devices.
  • Region: filter customers according to their region.

After identifying the customer, he must be registered on SFDA. If not, go to register a customer.

To Register a vehicle at SFDA

  • Click on the “manage” button on the right-hand side.
  • From the customer’s view, hoover over the “Fleet” tab then click on vehicles from the drop-down menu.
  • Then identify the vehicle you want to register.

To identify the vehicle:

All the vehicles linked to the customer will be listed. Find the vehicle you want by using any of the following filters:

  • Vehicle Name
  • Plate Number
  • Asset Category
  • Group
  • Level
  • Insurance Expiry
  • Registration Expiry

After identifying the vehicle, you can register it in SFDA services by

  • Click on the “Edit” button on the right-hand side.
  • On the vehicle page, go to the “Constructor information” section.
  • Toggle the “SFDA” button.
  • Two more mandatory fields will appear. Storing Category & Storing Type.
  • Select storing category from the drop-down menu.
  • Select the storing type from the drop-down menu.
  • These two categories will determine the range of accepted temperature on the registered asset.
  • A message will show the accepted temperature range.

Then click on save.
