Points of interest provides you with a quick way to place locations that are relevant to your fleet on the map.
Adding a point of interest
To add a point of interest navigate to the POI management page by going to Fleet > POI then clicking the Add POI button on the top right corner.
On this page you will define your point of interest by providing the following information:
- POI Name (required): define a designated name of your choosing that will help you identify this POI.
- Longitude (required): the longitude of the POI.
- Latitude (required): the latitude of the POI.
- Level: choose the level you want to attach the POI to.
- Address: this provides you with a search tool to help you define the longitude and latitude of your POI. Once the search tool finds your desired POI click on ‘find on map’ to populate the longitude & latitude fields.
- Description: any extra information that you want to add to the POI.
- POI Icon: choose an icon to represent the POI.
- Color: choose a color to represent the POI. This can be used to categorize or label your POI’s.
You can also add a POI by choosing the location directly in the map. Doing so will automatically populate the longitude and latitude for you.
