Learn How to Add vehicles matching SFDA criteria to your fleet.

Adding Vehicles

To add a vehicle that matches SFDA criteria to your fleet, navigate to the vehicle management page by going to Fleet > Vehicles then clicking the Add Vehicle button on the top right corner.

On this page you can add all sorts of different information about your vehicle:

Add Vehicle:

General Information

  • Photo: a photo of the vehicle. Select it from your device.
  • Asset Category: Select the Asset category from the drop-down menu.
  • Vehicle Name (required): define a designated name of your choosing that will help you identify this vehicle.
  • Plate Number (required): enter the plate number for the vehicle. it should consist of 1-4 digits 3 Arabic or English upper-case letters for example, JJJ 1897.
  • Plate type: Select the plate type (private car, Export, temporary. ETC) from the drop-down menu
  • VIN Number: enter the Vehicle Identification Number.
  • Sequence number: Up to eight number identifying the car sequence in the fleet
  • Registration Number: enter the registration number issued by the Saudi Ministry of Interior.
  • Registration Expiry Date: enter the expiry date of the registration of the vehicle.
  • Region: Select the vehicle region
  • Group: Selecting a vehicle group is a mandatory field if the user is permitted to add vehicles to specific access groups only.
    • Choose the access group from the drop-down menu
  • Vehicle status: Select vehicle status from the drop down-menu.
  • Change status: Change status from the drop down-menu.

When selecting Truck head, the two more fields will appear at the end of this section, before the Description field.

  • Description: any descriptors you want to be attached to this vehicle.

Add To Level

  • Region 1: designate a level for the vehicle within your organization.
  • POI: attach the vehicle to a specific Point of Interest.

Constructor Information

  • Vehicle type: the type of vehicle (Bus, Minibus, Motor cycle. ETC)
  • Toggle the button to activate SFDA Cold chain, and two more fields will appear.
    • Sorting Category: Define what kind of products will be assigned to the vehicle
    • Storing type: select the storing conditions.
    • After selecting sortin category and type, the preset temperature values will be shown, please make sure that’s what you need.
  • Brand: brand of the vehicle (eg. Lexus, Ford, Toyota.)
  • Model: model of the vehicle (eg. LS400, Explorer, Camry.)
  • Year: year of production of the vehicle.
  • Serial Number: serial number of the vehicle.
  • Vehicle Fuel Type: diesel, petrol 95 or petrol 91.
  • Tires Condition: choose tire condition (average, good, need change)
  • Color: you can choose a specific color for the vehicle. The color wheel interface gives you fine-tuned control over the color.
  • Cylinder: The cylinder power of the vehicle’s engine.

Insurance Information

  • Insurance Company: enter the company insuring this vehicle.
  • Insurance Type: enter the type of insurance.
  • Insurance Expiry Date: enter the expiry date of the insurance.

Platform Information

  • IMEI (required): enter the International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) attached to the vehicle.
  • SIM Number: enter the SIM number attached to the vehicle.
