Map View

Familiarize yourself with the map view and all the great features it provides.

The Map View page gives you a comprehensive and holistic view of the status of your fleet.

I. The Top Bar

The top bar contains information about the general status of your fleet.

  • Total: indicates the total number of vehicles in your fleet.
  • Moving: indicates that the engine is on and the speed is larger than 0.
  • Stopped: indicates the engine is off and the speed is 0.
  • Idle: indicates the engine is on and the speed is 0 (stopping at a traffic light for example.)
  • Long Stopped: indicates that the engine is off and the speed is 0 for longer than X time.
  • Inactive: indicates that the device has not sent any data for X time.
  • No Comm: indicates that the communications with the device has been lost.
  • Critical: indicates critical events defined on event management page.
  • Major: indicates major events defined on event management page.
  • Minor: indicates minor events defined on event management page.

II. The Map

Top Right Controls

You can zoom in & out, toggle clustering, or go to full screen using the controls on the top right of the map.

Bottom Right Controls

On the bottom right you can change the map type:

  • Open Street Map: this is the default map and it displays the maps of the Open Street Map project.

  • Google Hybrid: displays a mixture of normal and satellite views
  • Base Map:
  • Speed Limit:
  • Google Terrain: displays a physical map based on terrain information.
  • Google Street: displays the road map view.
  • Google Satellite: displays Google Earth satellite images.

III. The Bottom Quick Access Bar

The bottom bar gives you quick access to your vehicles, groups, points of interest, and geofences in your fleet. It is also the way to access the playback feature.

Vehicles

Displays the list of all the vehicles in your fleet along with options to immediately locate a specific vehicle, playback the movement of a specific vehicle (or even multiple vehicles!), or follow a vehicle in real-time.

Points of Interest

Displays a list of all the points of interest on the fleet platform along with options to immediately locate a specific point of interest, edit it, or delete it.

Groups

Displays a list of all the groups the fleet along with options to immediately locate a specific group, edit it, or delete it.

Geofences

Displays a list of all the geofences you defined along with options to immediately locate a specific geofence, edit it, or delete it.

Locate By

Displays the list of all the vehicles in your fleet and provides a tool to find all vehicles in a specific level or coordinates.

All

Displays a list of all the vehicles, groups, points of interest, and geofences. Basically everything.
