Adding Users

To add a user to your fleet navigate the user management page by going to Manage > Users then clicking the ‘+ Add User’ button on the top right corner.

On this page you will need to fill the following information:

  • Name (required): provide the name of the full name of the user.
  • User Name (required): provide the desired username of the user. This will be used to login.
  • Password (required): provide the password. The only requirement for a password is that it should be at least 8 characters.
  • Confirm Password (required): confirm the password.
  • Level (required): choose the level in the organization this user should be in.
  • User Profile (required): choose the user profile for this user. Check the user profile section for more information.
  • Email (required): provide the desired email for the user.
  • Preferred Language (required): choose the desired language for the user.
  • Mobile Number (required): provide the mobile phone number for the user.
  • Phone Number (required): provided the landline number for the user.
  • Account Activation: turn this on if you want the user to be immediately activated when creating it.
  • Notes: add any notes or extra information that you want to be associated with the user.

Adding User Profiles

User profiles provide you with the capability to define different roles and privileges to users.

To add a user profile to your fleet navigate the user management page by going to Manage > Users then clicking the ‘User Profile’ tab, where you will find a ‘+ New Profile’ button on the top right corner.

Here you can define full and fine-tuned controls for everything related to the platform, the fleet, users, organization and vehicles. Use this feature wisely!
